About Us

Fortuna Distillery represents a new concept in the production of vodka and other spirits, including liqueurs, bitters and gin. We focus on consumers who choose products made only from fresh, natural, and organic ingredients. All of our products are made using fresh juices and herbal extracts. All processes that involve peeling fruits, pressing juices and selecting herbs and nuts, are performed manually.

30 Years of Tradition

1993

In 1993, the production of alcoholic beverages began at Fortuna Distillery. Initially, only vodka and flavoured vodka were produced.

2000

In 2000, the distillery began production of other spirits, including infusions, liqueurs and bitters.

2018

In 2018, an alcohol storage facility for storing distillates was built and launched. The capacity for preparing flavoured spirits, fruit and grape vodkas, whiskey, and grain spirits was increased by 74%. Additionally, a powerful cold processing unit for alcoholic beverages was launched.

New extractors with heating for preparing alcoholic infusions were installed. The capacity of the vodka department was increased by 28%. Production of alcoholic beverages rose from 160,000 daL per year in 2015 to 1 million daL per year in 2019.

2019

In 2019, a license was obtained to produce new categories of spirits. The range was expanded to include vodka, liqueurs, gin, whiskey, distilled grain spirits, calvados, grape vodka, and fruit vodka.

In 2019, our products received a kosher certificate. Additionally, our food safety management system, based on HACCP principles, was confirmed and recognized as compliant with the ISO 22000:2018 standard.

2024

From 2020 to 2024, the technological department underwent reconstruction:
The capacity of the alcohol storage department was increased by 300%.
The capacity of the liqueur department was increased by 79.4%.
Modern multifunctional extractor tanks, blending tanks, aging tanks for distillates, and cryoaging tanks were installed at the production facility.
The cryoaging department was launched.

A new large pot still with a capacity of 250 daL was installed.
Two new column stills were launched.
A section for aging distillates in oak barrels was built.
Caucasian, French and American oak barrels were purchased, including new barrels and those previously used for white and red wines, sherry, and Madeira.

We work with many local suppliers of botanicals and are eager to consider new partnerships for our future products.

Herbs and roots

We also source a variety of botanicals from around the world, including spices, fruits, and grains, to create unique flavours. For instance, we use spices from India and China, juniper from Macedonia, limes from Mexico, lemons and grapefruits from South Africa, and fruits for our distillates from Armenia.
